College Consulting & Essays
After recently going through the college process herself, Olivia is eager to empower other students in crafting powerful college essays / applications. She also knows first-hand how confusing and stressful the process is.

Background: Olivia was accepted into: Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Cornell, Brown, Dartmouth, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Emory, UMich-Ross, Georgetown, UVA, UMD full-ride, and more.
English has always been Olivia's strongest and most favorite subject. Throughout the past 2 years, she has worked with numerous college consulting businesses and has edited multiple college essays. Students have been accepted into Yale, Cornell, Duke, NYU Stern, UVA, UNC, etc.
Olivia has had her creative pieces published in local newspapers and have won national writing awards, including a Scholastic Gold Medal. She has also tutored students in writing since middle school.

Services: 51Forward Consulting offers two types of services to help high school students put their best selves forward in the college application process.

1) Whole package narrative construction through hourly consulting calls
2) Individual essay editing

For essay editing, Olivia will add comments and suggestions to improve topics, storytelling, grammar, structure, clarity, and more. She will share her own templates/essays. She will also always provide a final feedback paragraph at the end of the essay highlighting the important notes and edits she made.

Why should I choose YOU?
A totally valid question. After all, I am only a rising college freshmen. However, I think this is actually my selling point! I can't tell you how many times I was confused and stressed throughout the college process. I can relate to and understand you. Plus, as I have a limit on how many people I help and I work on my own, I will commit 100% of my time and energy into you and your application. This cannot be said of other big consulting companies.
Additionally, since I just finished the process myself, I am up to date on college admissions trends and have gained knowledge in this area from the student standpoint (which can't be understood unless you go through US college apps yourself) that I'd like to share with upcoming high school seniors.

What do hourly calls mean?
1000%. Email me! I love meeting you all and totally get that ensuring we "mesh" well is important.
It means that you can schedule to meet with me, based on both of our availabilities, on an hourly basis to cover any college application help you need.
Do the Hourly Consulting Calls include editing essays?
Yes! The things we work on in these calls are completely up to you. I may provide advice on what to cover based on your current profile, but you ultimately have the freedom to decide.

My College Decision Reaction Video
I am beyond grateful for not only the acceptances I received, but also that I was even able to apply to such top universities. Thank you to all the adults who ceaselessly encouraged and supported me, my loving friends, and my amazing family for everything. I would not be where I am without them.
I worked extremely hard during all four years of high school as I hoped to attend a university that would give me the platform to reach my career goals and objectives. But, I always remained true to myself and my passions. I think doing the things you love is what pays off in the end because colleges will see your passion shine through!

Going through the application process caused immense stress, but watching these videos on Youtube or TikTok gave me inspiration and motivation to continue on. They were also my guilty pleasure when I was anxiously waiting for decisions :) Keep faith in yourselves, guys!
