MY WORK
Founder & CEO
Board Member
International 501(c)3 nonprofit Cancer Kids First was founded by Olivia in December 2019 to honor two loved ones.
CKF unites 28,000 volunteers and 70 chapters in its mission of normalizing the hospital environment and providing a loving community for pediatric cancer patients. In 3 years, CKF has donated 50,000 cards/crafts, toys, books, hospital equipment, and other resources to 69 partner hospitals—touching thousands of lives in 15 countries. CKF has also initiated 100+ events under its 5 service programs.
Named one of the youngest WEGO Health world's top patient leaders, Olivia was invited to join WEGO Health's Advisory Board. She worked with 15 leading health professionals to advocate for patient equity and advancements in the health industry, as well as shape patient communities and the social health awards.

Olivia was also invited to serve on The Hope Company's board, a nonprofit bringing hope to children fighting life-threatening diseases. She has shaped their patient network and works closely with the CEO on event planning and service program implementation.

Olivia's last board position is on 39 Veterans, a youth-led organization aiding hospitalized and active veterans. Olivia has been instrumental in directing the organization on developing a leadership team, growth strategies, meaningful initiatives, and more.
Researcher
After learning about the Great Resignation, an ongoing economic trend in which a record number of employees voluntarily resigned, Olivia created and conducted a survey for 2000 working people in Fairfax County. After analyzing her collected data and federal/local government data, she wrote a research paper.
Her paper was published in the Journal of Emerging Investigators in March. Read here to discover the impact of rising resignations in Fairfax County and effective strategies for staff retention.
Bank of America Student Leader
After being selected as a 2022 Bank of America student leader from the DC market (1 of 5 out of over 270 applicants), Olivia interned at the YMCA Metropolitan. There, Olivia supported the organization's various initiatives helping underserved youth and seniors. She also engaged in a week-long national leadership summit to discuss pressing societal issues with politicians and was invited to tour the White House.
Graphic Designer
As an artist since she was five, Olivia loves designing social media graphics and websites in her free time. Olivia has worked on graphics for local council members, small businesses, and her school's PTSA.
